Southern California’s Painted Wives attempt to inhabit the space between acts like High on fire, Queens of the Stone age, Gojira, and Alice in Chains. Painted Wives approach the sonic and literary mediums with a raw and serious tone, reaching out to tell the story of another place. Technical and melodic compositions are translated with brute force and brought to the live experience with purpose.
